On supported wireless cards i don` t see any new chip:<br />

<p dir="auto">There is currently no support for 802.11N in pfSense. Some 'N' cards will work but only in 'G' mode. A recent patch to the 2.1 snapshots enabled a backport of newer Atheros drivers but will still not run in 'N' mode.</p>
<p dir="auto">The TP-Link TL-WN821N comes in at least 3 versions that each use a different chipset. You would have to determine exactly which one your is.</p>
