Is anyone else having this problem?  I ticked the box to tell it to auto-reconnect (PPPoE) when the connection drops, but it doesn't.  And there doesn't seem to be an option in the browser interface to tell it to reconnect.  Reboot, yes, but not simply reconnect.

Status > Interfaces has a PPP connect/disconnect button.

PPPoE reconnect works fine for most of us (myself included) but there are a handful of people here on the forum that for whatever reason (their ISP, their NIC, their modem, etc) it doesn't work quite right. If you search around you'll find other threads with suggestions.
