Dual-WAN Support 2x PPPoE

pfSense advertises Dual-WAN support however, only 1 WAN connection has a PPPoE option. This is the first time I've ever seen a "Dual-WAN" router not have a secondary PPPoE connection. Is this false advertisement or am I doing something wrong here?

I have 2x ADSL modems plugged into the pfSense box.

ppoe is only supported on one interface. you should try to use your  modem on the OPT interface to authenticate with the ppoe server

That is correct.  You can terminate the 2nd PPPoE connection using the modem.  We are dual wan capable on as many ethernet like interface connections that you wish to throw at it.

In terms of pppoe on multiple interfaces, patches accepted.

Surely when one of the developers have mulitple PPPoE DSL connections and then decide to code it, yes.  Otherwise start a bounty.

I believe there is already a bounty on this that you can add to. I think maybe Ermal was looking at doing this, not sure of the status. Check the bounty board, should be on there.

If your ISP supports MP (multilink PPP) I think you can just bond the connections to act as a single wan in pfsense. This can be achieved using userland ppp or mpd 5.

I'm in the middle of trying to implement this and may be confused tho, will let you know.
