So I was able get allow icmp for a single wan ip.  Is it possible to just add a single rule to allow ping on all public ips?  If I take my firewalls ip and use the mask bits with http://www.subnet-calculator.com/cidr.php. I should be able to specify the destination as the "Net: CIDR Notation" correct?

Running an older version of pfsense  :-X and WAN subnet wasn't an available option so I just went with the full network/mask.  It appears to work.  Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to screw something up :)  Thanks for the response.
