Trouble with Images

I am having trouble with installing pfsense on my box. the version i am trying to install is 1.2.3 and am putting it on a box which currently runs windows 7 with pentium D processor. i want to override the windows. problem is, my pfsense version only sees one inteface card that i installed on my pci slot and cant see the onboard one. i want to configure my box to route but in the absence of one interface, i cant do this. i have decided to download a more recent version of pfsense but there too am finding problems. the mirrors i have found are for Compact Flashes, memory sticks and live cd's. can someone point me in the right direction with say a link to where i can get a mirror tht i can casually burn to dvd.
cheers

Assuming your only problem is the non-recognition of your onboard NIC, you could
1. Add another NIC. A PCI 10/100 will probably be recognised. (I suspect there haven't been many new 10/100 PCI NICs over the last few years.
2. Determine the make and model of your onboard NIC. If it is not "too new" you could install pfSense 2.0.2 which is based on FreeBSD 8.1, otherwise install a snapshot build of pfSense 2.1 (still under development and based on FreeBSD 8.3). Please post the output of the pfSense shell command```
pciconf -l -vThe pfSense 2.x series has been released for some time. If you have problems with pfSense 1.2.3 you might find it difficult to get help. pfSense snapshot builds can be downloaded by following the appropriate link on [http://snapshots.pfsense.org/](http://snapshots.pfsense.org/) pfSense release builds can be downloaded by clicking on the Downloads link on the pfSense home page [http://www.pfsense.org/](http://www.pfsense.org/) You can get more information about the various downloadable files from the _Info_ -> _Versions_ page from the pfSense home page.

The LiveCD is also the install CD so the version you want is almost certainly this:
http://files.nyi.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/pfSense-LiveCD-2.0.2-RELEASE-i386.iso.gzIf you have more than 4GB of RAM you may want the 64bit ISO instead but you probably don't need that.
