[SOLVED] install 2.0.3 pre-release or stick with 2.0.2 for now?
-
Hi all,
on 30th of january i have to update a 2.0 Release running on a esxi5.0 (around 300 clients connected at all times)
as i have to announce all downtime atleast one month in advance i was wondering if it would be best to skip 2.0.2 and head straight to 2.0.3 PRE-release.The system is not using PPPOE, and thus is not affected by the know dns issue in 2.0.2.
Thanks in advance
Jeroen

If you use captive portal, you're better off on 2.0.3 right now.
2.0.3 should be better all around, but we're still waiting on some info to come in and to see if any other showstopper bugs pop up.

What he said :D

around 20-100 captive portal users at any given time
โ> 2.0.3 it is
what auto-update url do i need to fill in to fetch it ? or clean-install + config import only option atm ?

I've posted the URLs in several threads about 2.0.2 for others, kind of busy right this moment so I can't easily grab them.
You can do a manual firmware update or auto update with the right url, but manual update is probably the best way. -
