Is it possible to change the default user name from 'admin' as this is a requirement for PCI compliance.

Make a new account in the user manager, give it admin rights, and then you can disable the default admin account.

The only area that will fail on is XMLRPC sync as part of a failover cluster, which only supports synchronizing as admin currently.
