      Hi all,

First post but I was trying desperatly to work out the issue. I have 2 virtual box clients talking to a virtual box pfsense router all on an internal network connection for the LAN connection. From both clients I can ping the router but I cant ping each other or talk to each other. I have disabled the Windows firewall on the clients disabled any NAT\Firewall rules but still it doesnt work. Could it be the Virtualbox client causing issues or have I missed something PFSense wise?

      Thanks

Need more info on the setup. Are you testing access with pfsense in the middle? If so, then what do you have setup NIC wise in pfsense? Please note that if you used only 2 interfaces (LAN and WAN) then the default rule on WAN is to block. There is also a default action to block private networks (which you are using).
If you add an allow all on WAN and LAN, then it should work. I think you might have to set a promiscuous mode on the pfsense nics.
