Hello, anyone can pls help me with the steps to use if I want to block users on my LAN from accessing facebook and youtube websites. I have already installed the squid package, along with DansGuardian, and added as blacklist url Shalla's list.

This question has been covered literally dozens of times in this forum.

The easiest way (without installing any software for L7 filtering) would be to use the DNS forwarder and/or add IP blocks to an alias and block it.

A more feature-rich but also more complex option would involve Squid and SquidGuard or DansGuardian.

I had a go with SquidGuard first, using the MESD blacklist, however it blocked all my internet access, thus I went for DansGuardian, but the firewall rules not blocking any of the aliases am creating so far.
