New with PF Sense

I have installed PF Sense on my VM ESXi 5.x
Internet is working fine but i am looking for a firewall system which work without proxy.
i want to block Torrents, Websites & Porn Sites

but the problem is i dont want to configure proxy or any proxy setting on any system. can you guys help me in this please

The only way to get a firewall to do this without a proxy would be to create rules to block access to certain sites. The difficulty is that you'll have to do it by address - and many sites have multiple addresses. In addition, addresses can change.

The best way to do it - in my opinion - is with a proxy and/or dansguardian. You can make it a "transparent proxy" or setup a proxy auto-config "PAC" file so that you don't have to change clients. OpenDNS is also great. I actually use all of the above - OpenDNS, Squid, Dansguardian and do it all transparent to the client…
