      Hello,

I have a mail server behind my pfsense firewall. 2.0.1.

Is there any way to block / drop traffic when there are too many traffics come from same IP at the time ?

I do not want my mail server get traffic spam , and prevent those intent to hack.

      Thanks.

I have seen what you request described as "flood control".  I believe the mail server should have the ability to manage it to some extent.  You can also find controls for limiting traffic in the Traffic Shaper.  Generally, it is best to not limit traffic unless you know you are being attacked.  Mail server protocols should allow you to delay mail when the server is busy.
