Cannot save settings if I use a ipv6 connection through WAN access
-
If I connect to my pfSense over WAN with ipv6 I can open all the html pages but I cannot save the setting if I press the SAVE button. The http post method gets no response.
What can I do?

What browser are you using?
-
Google Chrome 28
-
Try firefox - See if it does the same thing… (I expected you to say IE)
If its not a simple browser issue, and its a an IPV6 issue, then I'll have no answers.
Not using it here yet. -
I tried IE, Safari and Firefox. Nothing happens if I press the SAVE button. That must be something different…..

Good - Maybe that will help discourage you from exposing your interface to the WAN. Its an inadvertent security feature. :o
No idea - Try installing Openvpn and use that to access the WEB GUI?
-
Must be same amazing "antivirus" installed there, no? ::)

I access firewalls frequently over IPv6 by hostname (Firefox won't connect to an SSL-enabled IPv6 host by IP address… it's been that way for years and they need to fix that already) and have had no issues.
Do you have the same issue accessing by IPv6 on the LAN? Or just WAN?
I can access a VM here by IP in Chrome over IPv6 and it was OK.
If it was a general POSTing issue, you wouldn't be able to login.
Are you sure you didn't login with an account that you gave the "deny config write" permission to?
