Lcdproc, port not listed
-
Pretty straightforward problem, but I'm not quite sure how to get around it. I've got an old Matrix Orbital drive bay LCD panel plugged into my pfsense box. It lights up just fine, but the port it appears to be using is not an option in lcdproc's config page.
ugen1.3: <matrix orbital=""> at usbus1 uftdi0: <mx2mx3> on usbus1</mx2mx3></matrix>
Three other ugen ports are listed, but no 1.3.
-edit-
Looking at the lcdproc.inc file, it seems to me that the port selection is hard-coded into the module?

Yes its hard coded.
I could try and add it in the dev build.
Busy adding stuff anyways for my HD44780 controller, cos that one wasnt setup at all.
Got it all working now on my end so I only have to add it to the git source if I am able to add. -

Did the modifications, they only need to accept it now :)
Edit: its merged now, fixed a small error too after the merge so all should work now

Can we get a addition for ugen0.4? Looks to have gone missing with the latest update.
I have a HD44780 controller LCD2USB.
This was working before the latest update.

there was no 0.4 one in de code?
I could add it but it was not there before, you can look at github too.
did you change the usb port? -
Looks like when I upgraded to the newer version it changed my connection type. I changed it back and it looks to be working.
Thanks
