2.1 Upgrade fails after 24 hours.
-
Had a very smooth upgrade to 2.1, and then within 24 hours everything went south - system stopped being able to give out dhcp leases and a number of packages stopped working.
System Status showed no issues - remote logging indicated dhcpd could not write to the disk.
Root cause was /var partition was full. It appears that RRD graphs are using significantly more space. This condition causes a number of packages to fail immediately (such as Squid).
Solution was initially to remove log data under /var, and then to reset RRD data through GUI for now.
There needs to be a way to manage the RRD data through the GUI, as this problem required SSH to the router to diagnose.
