<p dir="auto">is there a way to get the harddrive to spindown, it seems like its Always upp and spinning, and i Think that it will shorten the Life span</p>

General performance is good but flash media is slow so bootup is usually slower. Some packages cannot be installed in Nano because they require continuous write access to the file system which may damage the flash.<br />
The hard drives will likely continue to spin. Even if they don't it would be better to remove them.</p>
