      So you don't waste two hours like I just did, here's a friendly reminder that systems with multiple CPU cores and a bunch of Intel NICs (specifically, those using the igb driver) don't mix.

      I've been trying to bring up a pair of boxes with Intel Xeon E3-1245 V2 CPUs (4 core + HT) and (12) i350 NICs and I kept hanging at "Configuring firewall…" until I made the changes at the link below.

      EDIT:  You may also need hw.pci.enable_msix=0 to avoid a kernel panic.

      I can break anything.
