Searching for a while now why my ntp server stop every morning.
Found out that this happens only if one of my two pppoe wan interface reconnecting.Jan 13 05:23:16 php: rc.newwanip: Resyncing OpenVPN instances for interface VDSL1. Note: I restart the NTP server manuel at 10:20.
2.1-RELEASE (amd64) -
Same problem here on 2.1-RELEASE (amd64) in an ESXi VM.
I'm able to restart NTP manually once PPPoE is back up.

Is this a known issue?
By the way, this happens only if my default gateway (VDSL1) reconnect.Update:
Have a look on a other pfsense with only one pppoe wan connection, ntp work here fine.
See in the log that the ntp server stop for a reconnect of the wan pppoe connection, is it possible that the ntp server start again
to fast?Update2:
"fixed" it with the Service Watchdog package ;)
