Trouble getting drive failover boot to work on Dell R200
-
Hi,
I just installed pfSense 2.1 on a Dell R200 on two mirror drives, which went fine.
When testing drive failover by pulling power from one of the drives and powering it on, it gets stuck on:
SATA Port A device not found
…
...
Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility.
I've enabled drive failover in the BIOS, but it still stops at this error. I updated the BIOS to version 1.4.3, latest, and also cleared and restored factory settings. It boots OK from each drive independently. My last R200 had an IronPort BIOS and I don't think I had this problem.
