How to apply fix for Bug #3376

Hello forum,
Built my first pfSense box yesterday to replace an ageing dual WAN Draytek Vigor 2930.
After figuring out one small problem (internal server not accessible via it's dyndns external address from another internal server) which turned out to be NAT reflection, I have removed the old router and confined it to a corner!
I must say that so far (bearing in mind I downloaded the ISO yesterday lunchtime), this is an outstanding OpenSource project!!!
I have found one small GUI issue which is already documented and fixed (in revision f70adc82) against bug #3376. The problem surrounds editing of IP Aliases within the Firewall–>Aliases section.
If I create an IP alias and add the range 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.15, it correctly lists the CIDR ranges as 192.168.1.10/31 and 192.168.1.12/30 in two entries. If I come in and edit the same IP alias, it set's all ranges to /32 (thereby missing out a whole bunch of IPs) when I use it within a LAN firewall rule.
I can see the fix, I can download the fix, I can edit the file on my server (or replace it). My question (as a noob) is: How do I go about applying the fix?

You can install and use the System Patches package. Or, if you are in a position to be using pre-release versions, get the 2.1.1-prerelease from snapshots.pfsense.org

Thanks folks - figured it out and burned a 2.1.1 livecd which I've installed from scratch :-)
