Verizon USB Jetpack as WAN connection
-
Trying to get a Verizon USB MHS291LVW "Jetpack" set up as the WAN interface, but having some trouble. When plugging it in it shows up in the logs as a PANTECH USB SCSI device. Can Pfsense use Verizon Jetpacks as gateways?

I'm using a 4620L via USB at one location and it works great. Can't speak to others.

Never seen one work. An been told a few times by Verizon that it doesn't. I usually use a Cradlepoint CBR400 with the correct card for the job, and then link it to a Soekis box as the WAN port. Today you may need the IBR600 as the CBR400 reached EOL.

If USB doesn't work, this will:

I have it connected to my WAN port, and have never had an issue.
