PHP error / corrupt config on latest snapshot

Booting pfSense-2.2-DEVELOPMENT-4g-amd64-nanobsd-vga-20140430-0747.img.gz off of USB stick gets the following errors after successful boot up:
Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are required to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set(function). In case you used any of thse methods are are still getting this waring, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected the timezone 'UTC' for now, but please set date.timezone to select you timezone. in /etc/inc//globals.inc on line 63
ls: *.xml: No such file or directory
Config.xml is corrupted and is 0 bytes. Could not restore a previous backup.I can get into a shell from the menu, but interface assignment and other utilities do not work.
The previous day's snapshot was the same.

Can you type mount on those snaps?
NVM the snapshots of tomorrow should be ok.

Hopefully all the snapshots of that time will be OK :) -

is working now.
