        here is the message

An HTTP_REFERER was detected other than what is defined in System -> Advanced (https://10.10.100.254/). You can disable this check if needed in System -> Advanced -> Admin.

Just reassign the interface in the console if you have direct access to the box.

In pfSense console you see your actual interface configuration and a menu with some options. If necessary you have to login at first.

Type "1" for assigning an interface. You get a list of valid interfaces (e.g. em0, em1, bce0, depending on your hardware) and pfSense ask you for the new configuration. At first if you want to use VLANs, then which interface you want to assign to WAN, LAN, OPT…., one after another.
There you can enter the interface name or use auto-detection to recognize it.

Every possible entry is displayed on screen.

After that, you can assign IP addresses to the interfaces with option "2".

Don't you get a menu at first after login as admin?

Don't you have got a backup for reinstalling pfSense? Your version is dated anyway.

You also may reassign the interface with ifconfig command in shell if you are familiar with the syntax.
