My SIP User Agent is showing up on server as foobar - not my actual phone.
Bet it is due to this: http://sourceforge.net/p/siproxd/bugs/53/
      Any way to fix this?

i am having the same issue.

        pfsense package version is 0.8.0

according to the changelog of siproxd this issue was fixed in 0.8.1 (circa 2011)

        http://siproxd.sourceforge.net/index.php?op=changelog

0.8.2 was released in late may this year.

it would be nice if the siproxd package could be updated.

I'm going to second the motion, an update of the Siproxd package to 0.8.2 would be much appreciated.

the freebsd port is now 8.1.0

also there is now 8.2.0 in siproxd snapshots, which i have just requested for incorporation in freebsd ports via their bugzilla

              interestingly, pfsense now has

              siproxd-0.8.0-5470 © 2002-2005 Thomas Ries

I am not seeing foobar any more, rather im not getting any UA at all?

I still see "foobar" when I check my providers dashboard.

I actually kind of like it because it shows me instantly if Im connected via the proxy or not.

It also throws off my provider when I call in for changes. Gets me right past the lower level grunts and to the real help very quickly.  :)

Youre right, its still doing it  >:(

Its also using "User-agent" rather than "User-Agent"

The fix is in 0.8.1 not 0.8.0…
