<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Blocking specific items on a web page?]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">Hi, I use a browser plugin that allows me to filter out specific portions of a webpage, for example the footer section of a website or some area of a page that otherwise bugs me.  The plugin keeps track of all my selections and when it comes across one, it filters it out for that specific browser.  Is there a browser plugin like that, that could maintain an element block list that a pfsense package could read, which would allow me to maintain these custom blocks for all computers on a network?  Basically a pfsense package that filters out specific DOM elements within a webpage, before it even reaches the computer.</p>
<p dir="auto">Taking that a step further, I'd like to intercept javascripts that try to open new windows.</p>
<p dir="auto">Could anyone point me to a package that gives me that type of resolution in blocking?</p>
