I have installed the cron package and via that entered this into /etc/crontab:

0      4      *      *      *      root    /usr/bin/scp /cf/conf/config.xml pfsense-backup@syslog-01.kb.dk:backups/config-hostname-date +%Y%m%d.xml

(syslog-01.kb.dk is our logging and configuration backup server). root's id_rsa.pub is in syslog-01.kb.dk:/home/pfsense-backup/.ssh/authorized_keys and that file is chmod 600.

When I run it by hand it works fine.

It doesn't appear to get executed by cron at all. What am I doing wrong?
