Intel NCU + Netgear GS108T help needed for initial setup of pfSense & VLAN
-
Hi,
I got an intel ncu i3 to dedicate as my pfsense router and I grabbed a netgear GS108T to use for vlan since the NUC only has 1 gigabit port, I flashed the latest firmware on the gs108t but Im wondering if someone could help me about setting up the vlan on the switch? And how to go about the initial setup in pfsense for it? (I've never used VLAN's before)
Thanks

For the switch config, youtube is your friend
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1E7C52rCXA
and although dated this should give you an idea on how to setup pfsense vlan's
https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Multi-WAN_using_VLANs_with_pfSense
Using the video as a guide, you would be plugging port 1 of the switch into your NUC.
