Get multiple virtual LAN ports on 1 NIC port
Hi. I was wondering if there was some hardware I could get so that I could get the LAN connection from my router and the LAN connection from my modem (LAN port, not WAN) into a NIC with 1 port and if so, how? I found the most ideal machine (small, doesn't use too much power, has 2 core 3GHz CPU and is probably quiet too) but there's no PCIe port for a NIC and I hear about all the problems that people who use USB NICs have.

Yes. You can get a managed switch and do a hairpin VLAN setup.

Sure you can use a managed switch an put both connections into a trunk to feed your hardware.
