I'd like to run DHCP in a failover configuration with a single (physical machine) peer on 6-7 interfaces. I've already setup CARP, and that works great. When I configured failover peering on the first interface - it worked great.

The trouble occurs when I try to enable failover peering on additional interfaces. Only the first will show status as normal, and the others are always in various peer-down states, and never work. I've tried using the same failover peer IP across all interface configurations, and I've tried using the correct-for-the-subnet CARP partner for each interface. Nothing works.

Am I going about this wrong? Does anyone else have DHCP failover peering on multiple interfaces working?
