SIP trunk nightmare and woes
-
Hi All,
I am a having a right old nightmare with a SIP trunk keep breaking and after liaising with the provider they are pointing the finger at pfSense. It's been working fine for the last month or so then all of a sudden stopped. I can see the SIP registration is fine in our PBX (whole different forum i know) and checking the pfsense logs I can view the states table and see that there is a state from our external IP to the provider IP and then a return path where fpsense is routing from the provider to our external IP then onto the internal IP of the PBX.
I wanted to check to see if anyone had made any changes to the firewall, and if so what they were. I presume there is a log somewhere showing any reload status and what was changed?Drac

on the nat, go to outbound and click manual. setup a rule and set the source address to the the local PBX IP and set the interface IP if you have more then 1 Public IP Address. Enable the box (Static Ports) and click ok and apply.
This should resolve it.

Make sure your rules are all set as mentioned on https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/PBX_VoIP_NAT_How-to
