PfSense, Elastix and Zoiper
-
Hello.
Sorry if this question has been asked before but I'm a complete noob when it comes to firewalling.
So, my setup…I have a LAN which currently only consists of one laptop(for testing purposes) The laptop's IP is 192.168.1.100 (As given to it by my pfSense firewall). The pfSense firewall has a standard ip of 192.168.1.1.
Outside of the firewall I have a PBX machine set up that is running Elastix, the PBX's IP is 192.168.11.254.
Now, my problem...I am able to access the PBX machine via my internet explorer by typing the IP into the address bar.
I am however not able to get zoiper to actually register my account with the PBX machine.
Zoiper accepts all my credentials but refuses to register the account.I know it's my firewall that is blocking the connection because if I connect my laptop directly to the router...PRESTO!!! it works...Go through the firewall and I get the error again. (SIP 408 - Request timed out)
I have opened port 5060-5080 (SIP) and 10000-20000 (RTP), I have allowed the IP of the PBX full access to everything, but nothing works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.
I hope that makes sense…

So the 192.168.1.0/24 is your LAN interface at pfsense?
192.168.11.0 is outside the firewall? So how you connect with that network?
Is that network reached by pfsense WAN interface?
Are you or your pbx behind nat using public IPs anytime?
Have you configured properly interfaces rules on pfsense?
