<p dir="auto">i just buyed an Alix pc with pfSense 2.2.1 installed and a Novatel EU850D 3G modem.<br />
I use a Vodafone Italy sim but the connection doesn't work.<br />
I think in a compatibility problem with pfSense and Novatel modem.</p>

I have just purchased a pfSense appliance with Novatel 3G modem.<br />
the problem is the PIN on the SIM card.<br />
if you disable the PIN code, the 3G modem work fine.<br />
I have been followed the guide below:<br />

They used to work a now they don't. Just to confirm consider trying an old version and then upgrade install to current.</p>

<p dir="auto">Try each command individually and see which one it doesn't like</p>
<p dir="auto">AT&amp;F<br />
AT&amp;C1<br />
AT&amp;D2<br />
ATE0<br />
ATS0=0<br />
ATM1</p>
<p dir="auto">They are all fairly standard commands though.</p>
