Hi,
@dmaxeeman:where can i found the database of the Admin Users of PFSense.
With pfSense GUI => Diagnostics => Backup/restore you save (or load) all settings.
All settings are stored in ONE file, called config.xcml… it possible to save admin users on a MySQL database?( if it is possible may i ask how would you do it :) )
I guess its not possible.
But, if you know what PHP is, and you can read/write it yourself, MySQL can be added to PHP used on pfSense.
Then, you (YOU !) have to write some code.
pfSense uses a local Manager (which stores everything in the 'config.xml' file) but this can be rewritten.Btw: a router/firewall that needs a MySQL server so people can login …. that's a little bit dangerous. If the MySQL server is down, you'll be locked out.

Do yourself a big favour and use LDAP, if you want centralized auth usable pretty much for everything.
