I have CARP configured on the LAN and WAN interface.  I created Virtual IP Address for both LAN and WAN interfaces. I configured the correct VHID Group and both and they are different(See below). The problem is my backup pfsense box shows the LAN interface as the Master and the WAN interface as the Backup.  The Master pfsense shows both the LAN and WAN as master. I can change the Advertising Frequency Base and Skew on the LAN interface on the Backup pfsense box and it does go to backup but after a few minutes the LAN interface on the backup goes back to Master. Any ideas??? Thanks

      Master pfsense

Adv Freq Base: 2 Skew 0

      WAN
      VHID Group 1
Adv Freq Base: 1 Skew 0

      Backup pfsense
      LAN
      VHID Group 2
Adv Freq Base: 2 Skew 128

      WAN
