Hi,
Actually it is quite easy to do with pfsense with squid 3 and squidguard package.
a. smtp, pop3 and imap ports are open by default for incoming and outgoing mails. no setup required.
b. You have to block gmail.* domain so users can't access webmail, can be done by either blacklisting this domain in squid3 or by url/content filter in squidguard. Please search the topic transparent ssl filtering in forum.
c.You can create profiles in squidguard to filter content or websites as per you requirement and apply this profile to group of users. I will try to update on links available as soon as possible.

I know nothing about your setup, do you want to do with transparent proxy or with wpad.

Why bother using a search engine to find what you need when you can ask someone to do all the work for you complete with screenshots?…

Hey,
is it like this?
I have my PFSense configured, to send all traffic throught the VPN Network.
But anway, i cannot send System-Mails from PFSense and FreeNAS to my mailaccount (gmail).
It always says: "[Errno 65] No route to host"Therefore i configured a firewall rule (to NOT sent it over VPN, because of maybe blocking SMTP by VPN Provider):
IPv4 TCP LAN net * WAN net 465 (SMTP/S) WAN_DHCP none SMTPBut still it doesn't work! :(
Tried so many things, to get PFSense and FreeNAS to send again system-mails.
