If you don´t want to get it, have a look under the links shown in the post from <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/doktornotor">@<bdi>doktornotor</bdi></a> and<br />
search for a miniPCIe WiFi card that is matching your criteria and then hug it up on an adapter<br />

<p dir="auto">What adapters have you tried? Tplink Atheros cards seem to have issues. Dlink too.<br />
The Atheros reference design is you best bet as Adriann worked for Atheros and knows the design.</p>

<p dir="auto">Considering that Atheros are <strong>the</strong> best supported chipsets on FreeBSD, your experience pretty much sums up the state of WiFi usability on FreeBSD. Get a proper AP with RJ45 and bridge it. (Should it be some SOHO stuff, DD-WRT/OpenWRT support would be a plus there.)</p>
