Pci express wifi adapter

:)
Hello everyone I wanted to know what cards pci express wifi properly support
pfsense, I found some problems with Atheros chipset boards -
https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/What_hardware_is_supported
https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Versions_of_pfSense_and_FreeBSDConsidering that Atheros are the best supported chipsets on FreeBSD, your experience pretty much sums up the state of WiFi usability on FreeBSD. Get a proper AP with RJ45 and bridge it. (Should it be some SOHO stuff, DD-WRT/OpenWRT support would be a plus there.)

I would get a proper wifi AP and not some card to put into PFSense

Well if you want a working Atheros PCIe adapter this works nicely at 2.4 and 5ghz.
HP WPEA-113N

The Atheros reference design is you best bet as Adriann worked for Atheros and knows the design. -
Get the card shown under the link from @Phishfry that is unbelievable cheap to get and supported.
If you don´t want to get it, have a look under the links shown in the post from @doktornotor and
search for a miniPCIe WiFi card that is matching your criteria and then hug it up on an adapter
likes shown under this two links:
