Pfsense forum language translations

Adding the ability to translate languages here would be great. Many times I spend time just reading what others are up against, as well as the latest simple discussions, and feel I could be gaining more knowledge, or assisting someone else while missing out on much of the forum.
In fact as I'm sure it's known, there is a google translate mod for SMF http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3213
Maybe this is already been discussed here and shot down for one reason or another?
