All is well when i connect RDP to an Azure Windows server. But it frequently disconnects every 5 minutes approximately. When i try to copy a file into the RDP server it disconnects immediately. And reconnects automatically with an error [ Error unspecified ] and file copy fails. Here RDP is running on custom ports ex:50590. I have Pfsense 2.2.6 AMD64

When troubleshooting I did the following
      1. I have windows servers in Amazon [running on RDP standard port 3389] which does nt have any such dis-connectivity issues on my network.
      2. In any other broadband or bypassing the pfsense connectivity is stable
      3. No issues with the conflict of softwares installed in the machine. We have tried in different OS [ubuntu, windows 7, windows 10] with or without Antivirus installed.
      4. whitelisted the Azure server's IP in PFsense firewall for all ports

Nothing worked. If anyone has similar issue resolved, requesting for expertise advice.

      Thanks,

          I have found a solution:

You can use TCP only on your server (with GPEDIT.MSC)

Group Policy settings “Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows  Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session  Host\Connections\Select RDP Transport Protocols"
