4860 1U and 8860 1U Fan Noise

I'm considering either a 4860 1U or 8860 1U for a home installation. What is the fan noise like on these units? Are the fans easily user replaceable with something a little quieter?

And they barely turn in office ambients with the kinds of loads you can generate with pfSense.

(DPDK, on the other hand).

Thanks. Ordered a 8860 two days ago (yes it's probably overkill for my application) and was pleasantly surprised that it was dispatched on the same day, and will be delivered here in Australia within 3-4 days.

EDIT: Have received the 8860 in under 60 hours from when I placed the order. That's pretty damn quick considering the distance it had to travel. Fan noise is pretty minimal.
