Firewall schedule for a whole year or indefinite
-
Hi,
I'm using the very latest pfSense 2.4.2-RELEASE-p1 (amd64) . When I go to the firewall scheduling page I have clicked all over it in various places and have come to the conclusion that there is no way to establish a schedule for a whole year or to establish a schedule for an indefinite amount of time.
I want to create specific schedules on a particular interface that would have virtually no need to change - ever.
Can I ask if this is the case and what is the mentality behind the decision to make an administrator have to create a new bunch of schedules every month ?? There may be a good reason for it, but at this point it does escape me.
Thanks,

Here are a couple of links that might help you out:
Here is a video of a guy with a "TCP" schedule for his LAN. Take note of the block TCP following his schedule rule.

I believe if you pick the weekday header it continues for more then the month selected(not sure)….
