      Hi!

I installed pfSense on my new Qotom Q878GE using this guide last week: https://fuzzyitlogic.com/2018/11/05/install-opnsense-in-proxmox-ve-on-a-qotom-q355g4/

That's working fine, with several devices connected through a switch getting an IP and connecting to the internet.

Now I also want run a UniFi controller on the Qotom in another VM. I installed the controller (using this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peWzAUKbnlw) but it doesn't find the access points connected to the same switch.

Also the UniFi controller isn't detected by pfSense (I installed it with an IP on the same subnet, but it doesn't show in the DHCP leases of pfSense) so I suspect it's because the VM for the UniFi controller doesn't connect through pfSense but immediately to the router behind it.

      How do I solve this?

Here's my configuration of the network settings in Proxmox: https://imgur.com/a/ftISpfo

        Hi,

        all on the sameb subnet?
If so this should be problem of proxmox.
Even if u r not able to 'ping' from unifi controller to pfsense.
        Are you?

Can the unifi controller reach out to the internet?

        regards,

        CAT
