DNSBL not working with Mullvad OpenVPN while using port 1400

Hey guys,

Just switched to pfSense and started with a Netgate device recently and love it so far!

I only have trouble setting up and making Mullvad VPN together with pfblockerNG devel work.

I followed the official Mullvad tutorial from their website to setup OpenVPN which works perfect.

Then I install the pfblockerNG devel without any issues too. However, while pfblocker blocks IP addresses the DNSBL function does not work at all.

Now, after researching online for hours I found that a few others have the same issue and simply changing the port for the Mullvad VPN to 1400 is supposed to solve the problem, as port 1400 does not have DNS hijacking. (Under OpenVPN > Clients > Server Port) Mullvad also mentions that on their website under 'Which ports should I use'

For whatever reason it still does not work for me and I am a bit clueless on how to solve that issue and how to make Mullvad VPN work together with pfblocker (specifically DNSBL).

Do I need to make any specific changes in the DNS resolver or do I need to change the DNS resolver port too?
My network interfaces within the DNS resolver are LAN and Localhost and for Outgoing Networks it is the Mullvad VPN.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
