at the moment I have a few VLANS and one openVPN on my pfsense which is fine and working, but I would like to add a second openVPN connection for one sole use of one of my VLANS

I have created the VPN (VPN_B) and assigned it to my (VLAN_B) and it looks ok, but after a well I discovered that both OpenVPN's stop working, so I have to stop them, and restart.

I have looked around and I can't find any documentation that can help. so can someone please point me in the right direction please.

Assuming you're talking about OpenVPN clients running on pfSense.
Possibly the one goes through the other one, because the server pushes the default route to you.

Since you want to do policy routing, go into the client settings and check "Don't pull routes" to avoid that the clients points the default route to the server.

thanks for the information, before I do this, I am guesting that I will need to do this to both OpenVPN clients ?

Yes, if you want to policy route the traffic from certain devices through the vpn, you should have this option checked on both.

You can also start / stop the client services on the OpenVPN status page when you have both enabled.
