    unable to access surfshark via openvpn

      Ther is a very concise tutorial on the surfshark website on how to access their vpn on pfsense via openvpn. I followed said tutorial but i am unable to get it to work. i must confess that the complexities of vpns in general as well as openvpn are a little above my paygrade but i followed the steps word for word to no avail. the interface it creates on opt one remains down at all times.
      i checked the logs and openvpn connects, grabs an ip address and disconnects without giving any reason.

      the last attempted connect of the log is below

        @vjer2021 First it is SHA512 not SHA-3 512.
