      Hello All :)

I have experiencing with weird situation when I connect to PFsense firewall and Ubiquiti switch.

Have you experienced like this when you using Ubiquiti switch?

      • Ping from LAN port --- to Unifi 10.10.10.3 'Not Available'

      • Ping from LAN port --- to Cisco 10.10.10.4 'Available'

      • Ping from LAN port --- to Unifi 10.10.10.5 'Not Available'

      • Ping from LAN port --- to SVR 10.10.20.2 'Available'

On the Ubiquiti controller, switch status is 'Disconnected'.
However, I can see the port status (blinking) even I can't ping to switch.

I am able to access SVR (10.10.20.2) even I am not able to connect switch itself.

I have no idea this happened and how I can resolve.
Please help me to get out of this mystery.

@eeebbune why would you think that has anything to do with pfsense?

I only have a unifi mini on my network.. And I can ping it just fine - but its also listed in my controller..

You prob get better support from unifi forums..

Pfsense has hidden rules that allow pfsense to do anything it wants really.. Unless you had some floating rule that was blocking outbound on your lan - pfsense firewall would have have nothing to do with pinging something on the lan..

can you ping the switch ip from the svr? What mask are you using for lan if 10.10.10 and 10.10.20 are in the same network?
