      The port forwarding auto rule places the rule at the bottom of LAN firewall rules. One has to manually move it above the "Default allow LAN to any rule" for it to actually work.

        Yep.. you need to move the "auto rule" up the list.

          It should not need to be moved unless something was done to the default rule (e.g. gateway set) or someone added a block rule.
