I have a user that often needs to connect to the VPN from different computer systems, and they may both be connected at the same time. They would be authenticated as the same user in our network (UserX). I am using local database authentication in pfSense. Do I need to create a separate certificate setup for their second computer? Do I need to create a different common name for the certificate, even though it is the same user? Or would the simple thing to do be to just add the duplicate-cn option to my server config and have them use the same certificate setup on his second computer?
