I am somehow on Version 3.4.
I read with PFsense CE 2.5.2 it should be 4.x.
Beside it is a fresh PF install, I reinstalled it just to make sure.

      But still:

      Any help welcome.

Thanks for the link, but I am more in an official solution instead of tinkering around.

Is pfsense.org an offical netgate site? Looks so to me.
            Because of:
            https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/11215

Maybe I misunderstand something here, but shouldn't it be at least 4.2 in official package?

@rai80 Any idea if ntopng 5 will be properly packaged and available once 22.01 is released?

Like other posters, I’d rather not manually do a ntopng install on my box that neither keeps its config in the config.xml, nor is properly supported in pfSense UI and migrations to new boxes.

Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)

It should be 5.0 according to this thread, but currently it’s not working as expected and remains 4.0

Lets hope this is a fluke and not an indicator that the ntopNG package will remain full of bugs and “useless” for the common non-tinckering pfSense user.

Unfortunately I don't know. Seems there is some disarray on the maintenance of the ntopNG package in package manager. If there are no one to maintain it you can only get there by tinkering yourself

Are there any real disadvantages installing the latest version of ntopng manually according to these instructions?
