Disable General/IP/DNSBL tab settings sync question

Can someone explain this setting?

Disable General/IP/DNSBL tab settings sync
When selected, the 'General', 'IP', and 'DNSBL' tab customizations will not be sync'd

I want to sync a configuration to a second firewall. And the sync works fine except that the destination MindMax key is part of what gets overwritten. I see checking this option would prevent this tab from being overwritten but would this also prevent my custom list configuration from being copied?
