It doesn't seem we have the capability to rearrange the interface order currently, but how can this be put in the suggestion bucket? My digital ADD pings me every time I see interfaces in an order that doesn't fit my organizational methods 😓
I see it can be done in alphabetical order, but that's not the outcome I'm hoping for.

I hope this can be added in a future update.

@clokwork there is this feature request

        https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/11169

Which is what your asking for?

If your OCD is causing you pain - you could always manually reassign the interfaces to specific opt interfaces so they are on the order you like them ;) hehehe

Or you could change the names on them so the alphabetical ordering is how you want them to be ;)

@johnpoz Thank you. I definitely considered the latter!

@johnpoz said in Rearranging interface order?:

I set the sorting to alphabetical and prefixed all of my interface names with numbers. Much easier than trying to use the actually alphabetical names.
